The bunkroom is situated near the Church, close to the Golden Lion Hotel, available either for groups or single people wanting a place to sleep.
Ideally located if you are planning on walking the Pennine Way, 3 Peaks (Pen-y-ghent, Ingleborough & Whernside), Caving (two pot hole clubs are based in Horton), exploring the Settle – Carlisle Railway, Fishing at the nearby Helwith Bridge Fishery, Clay Pigeon shooting at Coniston Cold or if you just want a relaxing weekend away with friends.
The bunkroom consists of 2 large bedrooms each with at least 16 beds, 4 shower rooms (1 having disabled facilities), there is plenty of parking space, a ¾ acre field for recreational activities - ideal for BBQ’s or picnics.

The Golden Lion Hotel is very close by if you require cooked breakfasts, packed lunches or bar snacks.
There is also another Hotel in the village, Local Post Office Stores, Café/Tourist Information and an excellent rail link to Leeds & Carlisle.
